Navigating Through Change:
Having the Confidence to Succeed
Have you been on the receiving end of a reduction in force? Are you one of "The Great Resignation" who left your job or career because you did not feel valued or fulfilled? Did you just need an emotional break after experiencing the global pandemic and now you would like to return to the workforce or need to return to the workforce? And, finally, did you retire and now see that you may need to return to work? Whatever the situation, the resources are available for you to succeed.
Today's workplace and landscape is challenging to navigate after all that we have been through since the global pandemic took us by surprise. No matter what your situation may be at this time, you have the power to succeed in anything you choose to pursue as a "need" or a "means of fulfillment." Understanding the wants and needs of current employers, how the workplace is changing, the need to possess technical and/or soft (core) skills, how to nail a job interview, or how to create a balance doing something you love and something you must do to make ends meet financially are all within reach with the proper tools, a little bit of research, and confidence that whatever you need -- or choose -- to do is the right decision as long as you make the decision.
During this presentation, you will learn:
- Why the market is so tight
- What recruiters and employers are looking for if you are navigating the job market
- Tips on how to prepare for an interview
- How to explore a new idea, job, or career and have confidence to make a transition
- How to make a living and fulfill a dream/hobby to create life balance and happiness
Come join others who are living in a bubble of uncertainty. You are not alone, and networking is an important tool as we all move forward together.
