Meet Our Board of Directors

The 40Plus of Greater Washington board of directors has dedicated itself to ensuring the continuity and growth of this all-volunteer organization.

In addition to providing general oversight and advisory direction to the Operations Council, the board's strategic priorities include:

Ensuring the financial stability of the all volunteer organization through fund raising and program grant development.
Increasing the opportunities for 40Plus alumni for networking and professional development

Dr. Krystle Lane

Executive Director

Dr. Krystle Lane joined Connors State College as the Executive Director of the Development Foundation in December of 2019 after serving as the Executive Director of Canadian County CASA, Inc. for five years. Dr. Lane has worked in positions within higher education and the non-profit sector as a conference logistics specialist for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education housed within the University of Oklahoma. She also was the Director of Adult Education at Bacone College. She earned a B.A. in sociology, an M.A. in HR and a Ph.D. in Educational Studies all from the University of Oklahoma. 

Greg Collins, Chair

Greg Collins is a training manager with over 25 years of experience specializing in leadership, curriculum development, team building, and coaching. Greg worked with government leaders during his tenure at the Graduate School USA’s Center for Leadership and Management, Ball State University’s Indiana Community Economic Development Academy, the Florida Conflict Resolution Consortium, and the Nevada Area Economic Development Commission.

Greg has served on the 40Plus Board since 2018, serving his second term as Chair. He previously served as Chair-elect, ex-officio on the Executive Committee, and the Director of Speaker Engagement.

Chris Cordom, Secretary

Christopher Cordom is a respected cloud industry leader with an established track record of creating and developing best-in-class, high-performing organizations.  He has spent more than 30 years with technology companies building sales organizations as well as creating partnerships and alliances.

Chris is a native Washingtonian, attended Syracuse University for his undergraduate degree and received an MBA from George Washington University.   

                                                           

Ron Moore

ITreasurer

 Ron Moore is a small business owner operating the first Schooley Mitchell franchise in Maryland. In this role, Ron works as a consultant helping other small and medium-sized businesses save money by evaluating expenses and controlling costs.

Ron has a BA degree in Liberal Arts from Bucknell University, is active in his local church, and assists with the 4-H program at the annual Montgomery County Fair.

Geoffrey Collins

Geoffrey Collins is an executive manager and thought leader with expertise in helping organizations to achieve their goals in strategic partnerships, growth strategy, public education, and urban policy.

He is experienced in driving transformation in developing and implementing far-reaching national and local initiatives for urban government, organized labor, and nonprofits.

Geoffrey has a BA from the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY and an MA from Baruch College in New York City.


Edmund Fleet

Edmund Fleet has more than two decades of experience in leadership, education and community development. Currently, he is the Principal of Fleet Management Group (FMG), which provides property management services across the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan area.

Edmund has been a member of several nonprofit boards, including the DC Primary Care Association, Life STARTS and Operation HOPE. He is the recipient of numerous leadership awards from nonprofit organizations, local churches and the Metropolitan Police Department. Edmund completed his BA and MEd degrees at Howard University.

Laura Koepsell

Laura Koepsell is a trained and certified career counselor based in the Washington, DC area, and has been practicing career counseling for the past six years at higher education institutions, non-profits, think tanks, and within her own business.

She specializes in supporting professionals looking for a change and utilizes positive psychology and custom curriculum to make the process empoweirng and manageable.

Through building an extensive network with top companies, industries, and professionals she is able to connect her clients with the best to achieve their goals.


Rajika Mahan

Rajika Mahan is a certified Transformational Life Coach and a certified Reiki practitioner. She is a published co-author of the best selling book "Short Sweet and Sacred."

She has studied with and is mentored by internationally acclaimed speaker and coach Mary Morrissey. For over five years, Rajika has been studying and implementing transformational success principles in her personal life. Her vision is for everyone to live to their fullest potential and to thrive in all area's of one's life.                          

Hanh Michael

Hanh Michael is a leadership coach and facilitator with a passion for helping individuals and teams gain the clarity they need to make the right move, purposefully, strategically, and authentically. She partners with leaders to strengthen their abilities through clarity of purpose, interpersonal effectiveness, team management, and conflict resolution. Her experience in working with professionals across a range of technical areas and multi-cultural settings has honed her ability to discern issues quickly.

Craig Muckle

Craig Muckle is a public relations manager and strategist who is passionate about ensuring companies remain transparent in the face of socially controversial matters.

Craig is the Director Of Communications for the Council for Responsible Nutrition, the leading trade association representing dietary supplement and functional food manufacturers and ingredient suppliers.                                     

Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Dayton.

Qaddafi Sabree

Director, Information Technology

Qaddafi Sabree has over 20 years of experience as an information professional, having spent most of that time at Howard University.

Before becoming a board member at 40Plus of Greater Washington, Qaddafi served on the board of the District of Columbia Library Association, where he was the systems director.

Qaddafi has a Bachelor of Science in English from Radford University, a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Howard University, and a Master of Information Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.

     

Carla Taylor-Pla 

Carla Taylor-Pla is results-driven Marketing and Business Development Leader with extensive experience in growing brands through integrated marketing communications, audience engagement, content creation, and collaborative campaigns.

She is a customer-centric strategic marketing professional with 10+ years of experience and a commitment to leveraging the power of communications to create positive change. Carla has extensive expertise in cultivating and maintaining relationships with diverse teams and organizations through effective communication, leadership, problem-solving and a passion for collaboration.                                          

Millree Williams

Director, Speaker Engagement

Millree Williams is a communications strategist, consultant, and coach. Millree is the Senior Director of Communications at the DC Charter School Alliance, where he leads the overall advocacy and brand communications strategy and execution on behalf of more than 121 DC public charter schools. He is also Principal of Willekop Consulting and Coaching, LLC.   

Millree has a BA in English and Philosophy from Bowie State University, a graduate certificate in leadership development from the Harvard University School of Graduate Education, and a certificate in change leadership from Northwestern University.
