Finding New Purpose and Significance in Work and Career During Retirement Planning

Are you a career professional approaching retirement and seeking new work and career direction that is beyond the standard definition of success? Are you seeking new processional opportunities that offer more "significance" in life, that is in alignment with your higher self, and that serves your communities and families? If you answer “yes” to any of those questions, this may be the right presentation for you.

While people think about going in a new direction, they find it hard to define and own a new direction; find it difficult to take on a new identity and focus; face doubts and fears along the way. Through an interactive dialogue, Dr. Jain will discuss the following:

      • Looking at career and work options as part of retirement planning
      • Identifying options
      • Finding allies and mentors
      • Taking initial steps to carve out a new niche
      • Managing expectations, risks, and other challenges
      • Living life with significance, joy, and optimism
