Get Ready to Launch: Managing Life Transitions

When faced with change, we often go to what seems the most logical and practical approach and solution to a situation. Sometimes this is because it’s the way we have always done it and it’s within our comfort zone. We look for the same type of job, we have a particular mindset as to how we adapt to a new manager or an organizational change. This behavior is very natural and normal but does not always tap into the best of ourselves or accomplish the vision we have for our lives.

Frederic Hudson and Pamela McLean in their book "Life Launch: A Passionate Guide to the Rest of Your Life," introduce a useful framework for understanding life’s changes and transitions. Authentic change comes from within as a result of taking intentional and deliberate steps to chart your own path.

Join Shari for an interactive discussion to learn more about this useful framework to help you explore where you are, where you want to be and how to take control over anticipating and effectively managing change in your life.
