Monday Morning Speaker: Angela J. Rabatin

Psychology of the Interview from the Interviewer’s Perspective:
Tips for the 50+ Demographic
.

with professor of business and attorney, ANGELA J. RABATIN.

In a market where many are in transition and looking for new jobs, optimizing the interview experience is important.

Generally, those chosen for an interview have what it takes to do the job; the challenge faced by all, then, is how to favorably standout from other qualified candidates.

What sets an interviewee apart from others who do the routinely proper interview things -- such as arriving on time and preparing relevant questions?

To succeed, it is helpful to understand the back-story of the interview.

This presentation provides tips on the psychology of the interview from the interviewer’s perspective.  It includes issues of particular interest to the 50+ demographic, such as an employer’s concern about the value of a job in the life of a prospective older employee, and how that issue may be approached in an interview.
